Treats employees like the ugly step-child

Pretty much everything else. I worked at the corporate office for a little over 2 years and in that time they put me through 6 different bosses: 2 were straight up fired, 2 resigned (1 was within a week after he realized what he was getting into), and the other two have been fired since I left. Key word - fired. This company loves to set unrealistic expectations with a very short duration for you to meet them, or else you get the boot. I witnessed this with too many people to count, across various departments. Also, they pay peanuts. I have literally more than doubled my salary since I left them 4 years ago.

As the Company grows we are committed to creating a comfortable, positive, and collaborative working environment for all associates. We value and consider all feedback and will continue to find ways improve but would like to address a couple of your concerns. As Thompson continues to grow we continue to look for ways to enhance our compensation & benefit programs. We have improved on Training and Developing our managers and associates. good co-workers (not management) there are some very dedicated hourly team members / workers in the facilities management division No other pros that can be listed.

Cons

"Do the right thing." "Do the best you can." "Treat others the way you want to be treated." This is the official company "saying....buzz term.....mantra" Repeat this to any employee who has or currently does work with this company and they will laugh like you told them the funniest joke in the world. There is no organization to this organization, management make decisions based on the "seat of your pants" method. If you are looking for a management position within this company, think twice. You will not be allowed to do your job, you will be held accountable for every decision made by those above you, and you will have no authority to manage responsibilities assigned to you. WARNING: if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. In this case it is....... Do yourself a favor, walk, no run as fast as you can, the other way. Zero- Career opportunities Compensation is the way they lure you in....... Benefits - getting worse and worse Zero - Work / Life Balance Culture is a punch line Values - none to be found, sensed or displayed.
