Worst Company I've EVER worked for

Pros

None. I can't think of a single pro. It's horrible. REALLY HORRIBLE!

Cons

For a minority owned company, they treat you like a slave and beat you down at every opportunity---and seem to enjoy doing so. NO work Life Balance expect you to work all the time to please the client. No one at home office knows what they're doing-- especially in HR. They don't even answer the phone. No training, but Micromanaged. You gotta figure stuff out and hope you get it right or get beaten down by corporate. Good luck getting your bonus because the criteria changes like the wind.

Pros

As long as you are obedient and don't rock the boat, you will have a job.

Cons

The pay is low for the amount of work managers have to do. Also everything must be approved by one person for the whole company. That can take months. This is a very top heavy company ran by a 4 foot 11 inch giant. (DZ) It takes so long to get people hired even if you drowning on the unit level. Craziest place I have ever worked. There is no work-life balance.

Pros

Visually nice lobby and breakroom

I have worked for numerous corporate offices in my career and never experienced a company that was in so much disarray as Thompson Hospitality. The retail food group flys by the seat of their pants and makes desicions very hastily without thinking things through. No one seems to like their job and i constantly heard people venting and saying such negativity about the company. Especially from the top. I left the company at my own will a few months after starting because I did not want to get myself wrapped up in the chaos. Such a toxic and clueless environment. There is so much turnover and I see why.
