Pros

Work is independent and can be satisfying.

Cons

Upper management up through the CEO is very unwilling to hear concerns from employees, and does not care what works best for employees to do the best job they can. Pay is terribly low, no room for advancement, and the company does not provide flexibility at all compared to what they like to appear as. The culture has definitely changed and has become very strict and unsatisfying since the current CEO was hired on.

Pros

Benefits and work life balance are good

Cons

The management team in the marketing department is terrible. If you like "yes men" you'll be happy. But if you think for yourself on anything you'll find this to be a struggle. Not only do the goal post constantly move, but the restrictions get tighter and tighter. The company changes yearly and causes major distribution for the first 2 to 3 months of the year. While everyoneis pissed off, you still have a quota to meet (and your pissed off too btw. Higher quota and no more money for doing more for less) And they are starting a new trend of send people's jobs overseas. They like cheap labor apparently, so don't be surprised if your job is outsourced as Jan 23.

Pros

Nice people, flexible schedules, a line of business you can feel proud to work in.

Cons

We change direction every year. Initiatives that were a ‘top priority’ are nowhere to be seen 18-24 months later (agile). Focusing on external senior leadership hires that don’t really care about the people- moving huge numbers of roles to India and Mexico. The company is moving through a Change Program on the backs of overworked employees across all parts of the company. If the company were willing to offer full-time remote or increase pay to align with market, perhaps we could find it worthwhile to stick it out. But that does not seem to be the case.
