A Very Sad Place to Work

Pros

Lower level employees have good relationships with each other and are able to bond over mistreatment.

Cons

The CEO does not seem to care about the employees or know how to relate with them. There is a serious lack of good management and all of the administrative/customer service and sales staff are very unhappy on a daily basis. There is a very high turn over rate for a reason. Management also does not implement any employee ideas on what can be improved, even after they specifically ask for everyone's opinion. It is obvious that money is the only priority for this company, not the people who work there, which is very sad for a business that promotes mental health awareness.

Pros

Flexible schedule and work from home

Cons

The worst place I’ve ever worked. For 53% split, billing will fail to submit and collect on claims and then try to convince you that you don’t understand how the business works. I was told that they didn’t file claims in may because I was not fully credentialed at the time . Still waiting to get paid. Sounds a little illegal to me. I couldn’t leave quick enough. Fake and untrustworthy leadership. It’s not that hard to start your own practice. You don’t need to give these people half of your money.

Pros

Manage the credentialing process. Have admin scheduling support.

Cons

More and more the incentives lean to being business driven rather than quality therapy driven. There is a paywall ($39/mth) that clients are required to pay in order to schedule in addition to the cost of copay or self-pay. More and more admin responsibility is being put on the clinicians in spite of that being part of what the business is supposed to do (consent forms, signatures, etc). Pay gets lower and lower with each “upgrade” of process implemented.
