Pros

Fast-paced. No shortage of work to be done. Lots of talented engineers to work with.

Cons

Top heavy management. Due to recent mergers, there is lots of internal struggle for identity of who does what.

Decent starting pay in most positions Mostly remote workforce Floating holidays and higher than average pto (maybe)

Cons

Very minimal raises, even after title positions. Managers know this and frequently advise employees to leave TierPoint and come back. Tierpoint is known to lose employees over asking for a 10% salary bump, but will re hire someone for 40-60% more. no bonus's unless you have a manager title or above. Manager bonus's are *up to 5%, but is usually 3% or less depending on company performance limited growth opportunities as the internal hiring process requires your current manager to receive notice prior to interviewing and they have to accept it. CEO is known for "wanting 7 figure profits from a $0 investment" and this leads to tierpoint lagging behind others who are willing to invest in new technologies and practices. Expects employees to work miracles, and the good ones who do so are not fairly compensated. Lots of blatent agism from middle age or older employees intentionally sabotaging younger employees or roadblocking them from being able to complete their work

Pros

Really good employees down in the lower trenches. There are a few very talented people.

Cons

It is too bad that very talented people are ignored by the leadership. Leadership is a mess. Some rule through fear. Most are not trusted. Many of them are outright mean to each other and definitely to others who are not on their teams. Too many employees are afraid and just keep their heads down to avoid being noticed. Leadership truly has no concept of the skills required to keep everything running. Magic and telepathy are not real! They are too focused on their KPIs and have no idea of the situations that everyday workers have to deal with. There is no training and no time set aside to train. BurBurnout real. Based on the constant influx of new names and the fact that the company employee total is going down and not up, I'd say they have had over a 25% turnover rate in just one year.
