Pros

The environment differs widely between different offices and data centers. While one location may be decent, another will be a dump. The company seems to be growing. There have been efforts to improve the working conditions at some locations.

Cons

Recent management layoffs. Only 2 weeks of PTO per year with no sick time. A few days of personal holidays. The company doesn't provide for much downtime. Only 5 holidays per year - very sparse compared to other companies. Raises are low and they are flat - same for everyone regardless of whether you get a good review or not. It takes away from the desire to excel.

Worst career choice I've made.

Pros

Decent pay for entry level work. High turnover so there is always openings. Most of these positive reviews were initiated by the corporate office to the few employees who are happy with this company.

Cons

Immature, unprofessional whiny management. Takes notoriously long to implement new ideas and initiatives, if your ideas are even accepted. Unless you come from one of their previously owned companies, you will never be able to succeed or move up in this cliquey environment- these employees could get away with anything and no repercussion. One day I walked past the HR department singing “another one bites the dust” while they were terminating employees and closing down data centers. No training or expectations are given, performance reviews are based on how you think you perform vs. how management feels you perform. No guidelines or policies to back this up. Worst management I’ve ever worked for.

Pros

If you know the right people or are willing to suck up to the right legacy management, you can be successful here. In the right departments, the rules do not apply and you can choose when/if you work.

Cons

Typical corporate structure. Cutting wages and benefits from the bottom. Management ignores employees that are not in their own inner circle. Going to a manager, then director, then VP, then SVP and still falling on deaf ears -- they do not care. The organization dysfunction and still operation as 10 different sub-companies persists. Many managers still insist on their legacy model and its die by the sword on that. The customer is not the priority. Ego and working with your buddies so you can ditch the office for a few beers is the priority.
