TimelyCare is Making a Difference

Pros

I’ve had the privilege of working at TimelyCare for more than five years, and it has truly been the professional adventure of a lifetime. During that time, we’ve experienced tremendous growth, expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and evolving in exciting ways. Yet through it all, TimelyCare has remained grounded in its core mission of ensuring students can live well and truly thrive. No organization is perfect and no leader is perfect, but I can say with complete sincerity that I would work for our CEO and leadership team again and again. I genuinely believe they care deeply about our employees, our campus partners, and every single student we serve. That commitment is not just something we talk about, it is something I see reflected in decisions, conversations, and actions every day. Personally, I have always felt seen, known, and valued here. My voice matters and I feel confident and energized about my career trajectory within the company. There is a strong culture of growth, purpose, and shared impact that makes coming to work meaningful. To be part of a company that is transforming and improving the mental health of students across the country is both humbling and inspiring. I cannot wait to see what we do next.

Cons

With growth comes complexity -- some people are simply unable to deal with that. Not really a con, more of a reality in working for a growing company!

Five years of growth and impact is something we don’t take lightly - thank you for the time, energy, and effort you have given to get TimelyCare to where we are today. Expanding access to care while staying grounded in purpose takes commitment from every level of the organization, and it’s meaningful to see that reflected in your experience. We’re proud of the momentum we’ve built together and of the leaders and team members who continue to show up with heart, accountability, and a focus on students. The work is complex, the growth is real, and the opportunity to make a difference keeps us moving forward. Keep sharing feedback on ways we can continue to evolve and improve.

A Special Place to Work, Grateful I Took the Leap

Pros

I have worked at companies with negative cultures and leaders who were disconnected from the people doing the work. TimelyCare is the complete opposite. This company is truly a special gem. The team genuinely cares about the mission and the impact we are making for students. That purpose isn’t just something written on a slide , you feel it in how people show up every day. What stands out most to me is how willing people are to step in and find solutions. When challenges arise (and in a fast-growing company, they always do), individuals lean in rather than pull back. There is a strong sense of shared ownership. Leadership is also incredibly accessible. I have regular meetings where senior leaders are in the room, listening, asking questions, and working alongside us to solve real issues. In many of my past roles, that level of access simply didn’t exist. Here, I can Slack someone, ask for time, or jump on a call, and people are open and responsive. That approachability makes a huge difference. The environment is fast-paced, which I personally enjoy. There’s energy, momentum, and a feeling that the work we’re doing truly matters. It’s not perfect, no company is , but it is authentic, mission-driven, and filled with people who care. I’ve worked in many places, and I’m grateful I didn’t let negative reviews stop me from taking the leap. TimelyCare is a special place, and what we’re building is making a real difference.

Cons

Priorities can shift as the company evolves, which requires adaptability and resilience. If you prefer a slow moving or highly structured environment, this may not be the right fit.

It’s meaningful to see this experience reflected so clearly. We work intentionally to build a culture where mission, ownership, and accessibility go hand in hand, and where leaders stay close to the work and the people doing it. Growth brings change, and with that comes the need for adaptability and clear communication. We’re committed to continuing to strengthen both as we scale, while protecting the purpose-driven, collaborative environment that makes this work matter.
