Pros

The goal of improving student access to healthcare is admirable.

Cons

- I was drawn in by the mission, but the constant operational shifts made the experience exhausting to keep up with. - Priorities arrived with urgency and then shifted again before anything had time to settle. - Instead of building structured systems before expanding, changes felt rushed and poorly thought out. - Expectations often remained unclear because processes were still unfinished and constantly evolving. - The relentless pace without consistent follow through created ongoing confusion. - Over time, that instability overshadowed the mission that first attracted me.

Rapid growth can create real strain, especially when systems are evolving alongside expanding demand. We understand that constant shifts in priorities and process can feel exhausting, particularly for those who value stability and structure. Expanding access to care for students requires urgency, and at times that urgency means adapting quickly as we learn and respond to partner needs. We are actively investing in stronger operational foundations, clearer expectations, and more consistent follow-through so our teams have the clarity and support they deserve. The work is meaningful, and aligning pace with process remains a clear focus as we continue to grow.

TimelyCare is Making a Difference

Pros

I’ve had the privilege of working at TimelyCare for more than five years, and it has truly been the professional adventure of a lifetime. During that time, we’ve experienced tremendous growth, expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and evolving in exciting ways. Yet through it all, TimelyCare has remained grounded in its core mission of ensuring students can live well and truly thrive. No organization is perfect and no leader is perfect, but I can say with complete sincerity that I would work for our CEO and leadership team again and again. I genuinely believe they care deeply about our employees, our campus partners, and every single student we serve. That commitment is not just something we talk about, it is something I see reflected in decisions, conversations, and actions every day. Personally, I have always felt seen, known, and valued here. My voice matters and I feel confident and energized about my career trajectory within the company. There is a strong culture of growth, purpose, and shared impact that makes coming to work meaningful. To be part of a company that is transforming and improving the mental health of students across the country is both humbling and inspiring. I cannot wait to see what we do next.

Cons

With growth comes complexity -- some people are simply unable to deal with that. Not really a con, more of a reality in working for a growing company!

Five years of growth and impact is something we don’t take lightly - thank you for the time, energy, and effort you have given to get TimelyCare to where we are today. Expanding access to care while staying grounded in purpose takes commitment from every level of the organization, and it’s meaningful to see that reflected in your experience. We’re proud of the momentum we’ve built together and of the leaders and team members who continue to show up with heart, accountability, and a focus on students. The work is complex, the growth is real, and the opportunity to make a difference keeps us moving forward. Keep sharing feedback on ways we can continue to evolve and improve.
