Pros

On an individual level, team members were friendly and supportive. They genuinely cared about helping one another and about serving the students and staff who relied on the services. Their compassion and collaboration stood in clear contrast to the broader leadership issues, and they often carried the heart of the mission in their day-to-day work.

Cons

Everything described stands in direct opposition to the company’s stated mission and values. There is a clear disconnect between what is promoted publicly and what is practiced internally. Many employees are afraid to speak up about the hypocrisy because those who do are labeled as culture killers. That kind of environment discourages accountability and honest dialogue. Overall, it creates a workplace that is unhealthy and unsustainable. Ironically, in a company centered around mental health, the culture itself can leave employees feeling like they are the ones in need of support.

Our mission is to foster student success and improve the health and well-being of campus communities, and it remains the foundation of our strategy and decision-making. We believe meaningful impact and financial sustainability go hand in hand, because serving students and campus partners at scale requires both. As we grow, we know alignment and trust are earned through consistent communication and everyday actions, not just words. We remain committed to strengthening transparency, encouraging candid dialogue, and ensuring our culture reflects the purpose that brings our teams to this work.

Pros

My coworkers are somewhat supportive.

Cons

Working here is unbearable due to petty and insecure leadership. Leaders are shockingly incompetent and make disastrous decisions constantly. Thriving employees are often sabotaged, harming both individuals and the company. Leadership's behavior creates constant frustration and blocks any progress.

We understand that strong feelings can arise when leadership decisions or organizational changes are difficult. We hold leaders to high standards and make decisions with the long-term health of the organization and the students and campuses we serve in mind. Experiences can vary across teams and roles, and we remain committed to accountable leadership and to continuously strengthening how we lead, communicate, and support our people.

Pros

A few coworkers genuinely try to support each other, largely because leadership does not. The mission sounds good on the outside, which is why many people join in the first place. Beyond that, there are very few real positives.

Cons

This is an extremely toxic work environment with executive leadership that has completely unrealistic expectations and no understanding of work-life balance. Micromanagement is constant, and employees are not trusted to do their jobs without being watched. Small mistakes are treated as major failures, and people are regularly let go for minor issues with little warning or support. Unlimited PTO is a complete scam. The workload and pressure make it nearly impossible to actually take time off, and the high turnover conveniently means the company doesn’t have to pay out unused PTO when employees leave. There is effectively no work-life balance, and long hours are normalized. The irony of this company promoting mental health support for students while actively disregarding the mental health of its own employees cannot be overstated. Employee computer activity is tracked, creating a culture of surveillance and fear. Breaks are discouraged, burnout is constant, and leadership shows no accountability for the revolving door of employees. If I could give this company negative stars, I absolutely would.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience felt stressful and unsupportive. When someone describes their workplace as toxic or unbalanced, that’s serious feedback and not something we dismiss. We recognize that periods of growth and change can feel intense, and experiences can vary across teams and roles. We know not every experience will reflect the environment we aim to create. We wish you the best moving forward.
