      Pros

      Toast has some really great talent, and outstanding individuals that are genuinely kind, helpful, intelligent, solution-oriented, and go-getters. There are ample resources in terms of Sales Enablement (applicable non sales related roles there is in-depth training available to any role here at Toast). Colleagues are more than willing to lend a helping hand, answer questions, and go outside of their assigned responsibilities to help each other out and help our customers out

      Cons

      In recent months since the company has gone public, the culture has turned less supportive and more micro managerial in sales specifically. The work life balance is constantly preached but only achievable for consistent overperformers.

      A better place to work I am having trouble imagining

      Pros

      Growing fast, literally no bad people. Everyone is in it for the customers, for the team, and to do the right thing.

      Cons

      Fast growth = rapid change so hold onto your hat. From day one it is a whirlwind. The opportunities abound but getting your footing is harder than at an established company. The interview process is no cakewalk and you should be glad it is hard. To keep a culture this good Toast has good processes.
