Pros

Coworkers get along and for the most part work well as a team.

Cons

There is no actual training. The training you do receive is botched. You get taught from multiple people who all do things differently, then get told by the next person it's not the correct way to do it. Half of what you learn is self taught or learned the hard way. Used to have the ability to work from home and work overtime as needed, but can no longer work from home (only for some employees. Others have the ability to do it whenever) and time is micromanaged. We're tracked like children who can't be trusted. Our insurance also "improved" but still don't compare to other jobs I've held in the past. No consistency in rules. Some things apply to some people and not others.

Not enough work, weren’t willing to train me on other things, tried to get me to work in another area I wasn’t hired to work for, traffic is terrible.

Pros

I was working for a company that near my home. I thought that I was going to receive the training that I needed to fully perform my new job, in my new career. A friend of mine put in a good word for me and I got this job.

Cons

I was not trained effectively and the management put the blame on me. Initially there was an individual who was on sick leave. My job was going rather well until he came off of his sick leave. Before he came back I was able to do some of the pricing and other tasks. I was getting some really good feedback from my peers on the work that I was doing. Then he came back and took away the opportunity to continue growing and learning. The other thing that I would like to talk about is my exit day at the company. It was a total surprise when they told me that I was going to be let go. I was actually doing rather good work for them at that time. When I was let go I was told that I would be getting the rest of my annual vacation. So I months went by and I got a letter from them stating that they had overpaid me. There were 5 deposits made over a period of 2 months. I had no idea that they were paying me. Now they want their money and they cannot explain why they overpaid me.
