- F/T Hours, decent pay, good benefits after 3 months. - Absolutely love the people I work with. The company is very focused on individual growth. Very team orientated environment.

Cons

- None really stand out. This is a great position to have, and the family atmosphere is excellent. The only downside for me is the pay is slightly below average here.

Cons

-Long days in your first year -Lots of cold calling -Research and database building -Dealing with unhappy customers from time to time -Fast paced (which is a pro or con depending on how you look at it) -Rejection -Managing the momentum to keep your sales and activity up can be hard if you are not motivated

Pros

I've worked at some pretty great companies, with excellent training programs, and Tom James is at the top of that list. The leadership works hard to give me the support and training I need to run a successful business. The people I work with have always gone the extra mile to lend a hand when I needed it- which is pretty atypical in a sales career. Great benefits, fun bonus opportunities, excellent conferences, beautiful clothing!

Cons

I don't neccessarily consider this a 'con' however, if you aren't willing to work hard, you shouldn't be in a career where you build your own business. This isn't a 9-5 job. Like anything in life, what you get out of this career is determined by the amount of effort you put in.
