Tom James is a wonderful place to work. The majority of the salespeople have been with the company for over 5 years. It is an unlimited opprotunity that you get out of it what you put into it. Everyone is promoted from within based upon merit. As a 10+ year veteran I started as an entry level salesperson. I was expertly coached on how to do our job by the best in the business. I now manage a large organization within Tom James. I plan on retiring with the company.
Cons
Tom James is a mentally and physically demanding job. We are required to locate our prospects. promote and deliver the products we sell. I have seen in my tenure many different approaches to training and mentoring new salepeople. Some of them have worked well and some have not. We are constantly trying to improve our training systems. Our current training model has been the most effective one I have seen in my tenure.
