      I couldn't ask for a better job.

      Pros

      I took my first job after finishing my college education with Torch Technologies and have been here for about a year. I didn't really know what to expect, but it has been the greatest experience. It truly is like a family here. Their pay is more than fair, the work-life balance is unbelievable, and the company culture makes you want to be the best at your job. I'm a firm believer in companies that invest in their employees and Torch does this in several ways. Their benefits in regards to retirement and ESOP profit sharing help all employees get ahead and prepare financially for their future. Additionally, they offer perks such as tuition reimbursement. I have gone on to pursue my master's degree and Torch has reimbursed me for more than half of my costs. I'm so thankful that I've found such a great company to grow with professionally.

      Cons

      -I feel like the folks who don't work at corporate sometimes feel distant from the company, but given the nature of our work and organization I know there isn't really a way to fix this.

      Torch Technologies review

      Pros

      The retirement is 15% a year some 401K some stock. The culture is a small business feeling. Leaders stay engaged in the day to day.

      Cons

      The current split is 12% stock and 3% 401K. The company is growing at an unsustainable pace. The company is starting to install more and more beuacracy to try to keep up with growth.

We are certainly growing, which is both intentional and positive for the company, as we have grown 30-40% each year since our founding in 2002. This growth has led to our recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies for the past 12 consecutive years. Torch’s projected growth is not only monitored, but has been factored into our strategic planning processes, and is briefed by leadership during our quarterly All Hands meetings.

      Exceptional Culture!

      Pros

      100% Employee Ownership model makes for great buy-in at all levels. The corporate leadership is smart, forward-thinking, and focused on building a great company. The support staff is exceptionally helpful and the benefits are very good.

      Cons

      The main office is in Huntsville, so there is a little bit of a perceived bias toward what’s going on there versus the rest of the sites.
