So Many Great Things...But LM Ruined It
Pros
- Meaningful work that changes customers' lives in a positive way - Genuine dedication to making a well-designed product that fits and flatters customers (not junky fast fashion) - Transparent, communicative leadership keeps everyone abreast of the business' health/ups and downs through each fiscal quarter - Remarkably low turnover rate by today's standards - Quarterly bonuses are decent when fiscal results are surpassed - Elegantly decorated and well lighted office - Fun, energetic, and friendly coworkers
Cons
- CCO (formerly CEO, President, SVP Design) is a well-known bully and narcissist. Employees and organizational peers are visibly frightened by her; it's an open secret. CCO parked illegally in the handicapped spot in front of HQ entrance for YEARS despite being able bodied. Backstabs and overrides other executives regularly, causing productivity loss and confusion in other departments. Believes rules don't apply to her. Requires excessive attention, applause, credit, flattery, Instagram likes and follows. Large painted portrait of her DRESSED AS A QUEEN hangs in her office. - Salaries are 15-30% less than at comparable companies - Top Executive crew does some great stuff, but is RARELY on the same page, causing lots of trickle-down confusion - Formal corporate procedures do not exist. Don't suggest creating one. You will be pulled aside and given a warning. - City of Industry is a food desert. No fresh food in a 20-mile radius
