Pros

Access to sometimes stylish plus size clothing

Cons

Horrible. Short shifts that are often slashed at the last minute and schedules mandated by selling stats. Although supposed to be most hours assigned to highest earning salespeople, shifts are usually given to management favorites. Keyholder duties are essentially the exact same as management, but with a huge disparity in pay and perks No benefits No help from management, unrealistic goals

Pros

You get a 40% discount that can be applied at Torrid and Hot Topic. Coworkers are friendly.

Cons

Unless you are in management you will likely only get one shift a week. If you're lucky it will be a four hour shift. If you're really lucky it'll be five. But in my case, most of my shifts have been three hours. We generally have one manager in the store along with one associate, which means it's a struggle to complete tasks by the end of the day. It also means that we have a hard time keeping up with customer traffic when it gets slammed. It's harder to make sales goals if you're not assigned to the front of the store.

Pros

40% employee discount You feel good helping other plus size women feel great

Cons

Overworked for minimal pay Scheduling is done less than a week's notice and can change with only a few hours notice Cancelled shifts due to poor management of payroll Not many employees are allowed to work more than 3 hours a week due to stupid payroll restrictions Management ignores scheduling concerns Lucky to make 50$ in a month
