Pros

Torrid is a company that emphasizes culture. It truly believes in it. Open door policy to talk to HR. Joe, you are amazing! Room for growth if you are in a multi-store market or are willing to relocate. Discount and benefits are good. Opportunity to really impact people and how they feel about themselves (Not everyone is a size 2) Information on company vision is shared down to the store level. Leadership (in most cases) comes from backgrounds that will improve the business. Managers meeting is very inspirational and informative. Work life balance as an SM is good! Customers are amazing. My DM and RD were the most great people. I have since worked 2 other places since and have learned the most from these people and this company.

Cons

Hard to grow if you are not able to relocate or in a high profile store. (depending on your dm) Pay can be tough but I was thankful to even have a job Your who opinion of the company can be impacted by one SM or DM. My opinion is if you ever feel something is unfair.....go to HR. They WILL respond and they WILL address it.
