Pros

- Great people, love my coworkers, everyone is great, when i (willingly) come to the office i have great convos, etc... - The product is super cool, lots of innovation and we are building something great - Structure is good, enough employees, not understaffed atm and people are willing to help you and very nice all around

Cons

(Keep in mind all of the things above were on verbal agreements in the interview, none of the terms are in my contract, mistake on my part for trusting their word and not requiring that the 3 month perk and fully remote / flexibly hybrid be mentioned in my contract.) - They promised us we can be fully remote and flexibly hybrid (can come in office IF YOU WANT) in the interview, however now they are forcing us back into the office 50% of the week. This was never mentioned or hinted towards during the interview process, even though they hired like 100 people in the last year, they should know better. - Was told during the interview and even was glorified as a perk of the company that you can work from anywhere in the world for up to 3 months a year. In latest announcement they reduced it from 3 months to 1 month because people 'werent taking the full 3 months anyway'. Horrible reasoning, it's not because not a lot of people are taking the full perks that others don't want to and our perks should be cut down. - Managers are VERY insistent on the fact you should come to the office, there is social pressure about coming back to the office.

Thanks for taking the time to write this all up. It is clear that you care, and there are many aspects of the company that you like, which is great. Regarding our return to office, we believe that colleagues coming together in person on a regular basis is critical to establishing and maintaining professional relationships. We believe our synchronized hybrid approach strikes a great balance between this objective and giving employees flexibility. Further, our product is based on people coming together in person to connect with each other, and we think it is important to reflect that in how we work. I understand that you are disappointed in the policy change. Ultimately, I believe all companies must continually evaluate and be ready to change anything if they see an opportunity to improve. However, when you make this kind of change, it is important that you give everyone a lot of notice and use a gradual approach. Which is we are starting with requiring only 2 days per month for the initial quarter. We are committed to continuing to work with our valued team members to make the transition successful and hope you see the benefits as you spend more time engaging with your colleagues in person. Thanks, Ross, CEO

Pros

Very good benefits and insurance package. Free breakfast and lunch at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Clear career milestones to reach to get promoted to the next level.

Cons

Management and architecture is archaic. Developers are responsible for creating their own backlog with little to no help from analysts and architects. No one seems to take responsibility for features, which leads to devs having to take initiative, which leads to ideas being blocked by the indecisiveness of architects. Played a switcheroo by hiring me as fully remote but then enforcing hybrid 6 months in.

Pros

Since i joined TouchTunes, i've been continuously impressed by its culture, its dedication to create best-in-class products and most of all, the people i have the chance to work with. -Clear vision: we know where we're going, not just short term (clear 3-5 years vision) -We're setting us up for success and approaching new projects the right way: hiring the right amount of people, empowering the team to define new processes, leveraging data and user insight to inform decisions -Diversity: strong desire to be an inclusive workplace and it shows. Working alongside people with so many different background, experiences on top of socio-demographics -Surrounded by smart, hard-working and passionate people you get to learn from everyday -Exciting products, motivating projects and interesting problems to solve -Flexibility with remote/office work It is such an exciting era for the TouchTunes, with major projects on all fronts, and it is rewarding to know that we are all contributing to shape the future of the company .

Cons

TouchTunes is the best company i've worked for, but there are still room for improvements. -Salary is not bad, but could do better (especially for top talents with proven experience and high performance - external recruiters are everywhere with appealing opportunities) -There are high performance and quality standards, which is definitely not a con, but the workload can be overwhelming and it can feel like it is always crunch time -Onboarding for new hires is not the best and it is not standardized across the company. It is such a complex ecosystem , understanding the various aspects of the business take time and can also feel overwhelming

Thank you so much for this review! I am delighted that you are enjoying your time with us. I appreciate your constructive feedback. We conduct regular market reviews for compensation and provide differentiated rewards for top performers. Still, we always encourage anyone to discuss with their manager and HR if they think there is a gap. I hear you that having a high bar is great, and I agree that work needs to be a marathon, not a sprint. HR recently rolled out a new onboarding program, and I suspect you may have been one of the last new hires before that was deployed. I certainly agree the previous onboarding process was not as thorough as it could have been. Thanks, Ross, CEO
