Great place to land

Pros

TouchTunes was recently purchased earlier this year, which was a long and taxing process -- but exactly what the company needed. The new investors are serious about growing this company, which will create tremendous opportunities for everyone there. Of course with any transition comes change, so I would say to anyone considering this company, don't be too worried about all the negative reviews. For any company going through a transition, you will certainly disrupt a few people here and there. The core of what makes this company great, is the people -- the talent here is really unparalleled. Match that with the innovative products they have built and the market share they control, and you have the right recipe for a really strong future. If you want to come to a company where you have the opportunity to learn, grow and have a real impact, then TouchTunes is a great place to land. There will never be a shortage of interesting and innovative things to do, and if you work hard, the sky is the limit.

Cons

Still do not have a 401K match or flexible vacation policies. Most mid-size tech companies provide this and more.

Pros

I have been with TouchTunes for several months now and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience so far. The teams are highly motivated and focused on building the best products possible and there is little room for distraction. It is a great place to learn from bright colleagues who are more than willing to help and the positive energy in the office seems to be contagious right now. Executives are focused and supportive and are very open to new ideas and harnessing employees' strengths. If you believe you have good ideas, share them! They will be taken seriously. The HR team is very receptive to the needs of its employees and have established a fun workplace environment with recreational events, Lunch & Learns and more. There are very few music tech companies pushing the limits in the way that TouchTunes is and this is a great time to work for a company that is growing and innovating at record pace.

Cons

There are a lot of legacy systems which often make it difficult to innovate and iterate products at the highest possible speed, but there seems to be strategies in place to fix this.

Pros

In Technology some new blood has come in that looks promising. HR is doing a great job of starting to better look after employees and facilitating increased communication ("Lunch and Learns, etc."). There are some great perks (a mini-concert in the office every 3 weeks or so, trips to Montreal for some employees) and it is a small enough company that an individual can make a great impact.

Cons

TouchTunes is rediscovering itself after about two years of turmoil, during which: - The executive team was majorly distracted by courting new investors (in the end this was completed and worked out well for the company) - There was a slow-motion shakeup of the executive team (1 or 2 people still need to go, but this is mostly solved and stable) - There was a good deal of attrition due to low morale and employee satisfaction.
