Pros

The work environment was cooperative and accommodating, with flexible work hours and decent OT pay during the holiday rush. Great management.

Cons

The employee areas sucked the soul out of me with how sterile they were. Ancient "Happy Birthday" plastic table cloths in lonely rooms with concrete or linoleum floors. Not a carpet in sight. It's the little things, I guess. The customers were almost always fantastic to work with, but one holiday season there was a parent who was adamant we look in the back for a white version of a black La La Loopsy doll. It threw me for a loop, and took some effort to humor her.

Not really any pros about working here.

Cons

This job sucks. A part-time employee, which is all they hire for, gets 8 to 10 hours a week, if even that. My store employs about 25 to 30 people, most of which are part-time. Part-time associates aren't eligible for benefits, and the employee discount is a whopping 10%. This company is cheap, and treats employees like dirt.
