Pros
department Director was amazing, very progressive. Allowed us to function as professional adults, trusted us to do our jobs, and provided as much autonomy as we wanted/needed to get things done. Overall, the cohesion among the core group of "long-timers" at the Director level and below made it enjoyable to go to work every day.
Cons
Too many VPs with their own personal agendas and not enough knowledge of the specifics at the executive level to keep them in check. executive leadership had the right idea towards the end but the ship had already taken on too much water.
