Pros

The Atmosphere was nice for me being in a busy store in a the middle of a busy city. The history of the Toy Store. Compensation was good. The Availability of hours. My coworkers were really nice to work with, there was a nice mix of people. Lots of interaction even working in the Classic Toys Department (generally slow). Meetings/Get togethers were nice.

Cons

Supervisors and Managers were always hard to find in case you needed them. Scheduling was a problem because I went to school full time and worked almost 30 hours a week. Managers and Supervisors not noting my availability properly. Having to stay late nights. I worked next to the candy department so I heard "Candy Girl" 90 times a day...fun until it gets annoying.

Pros

Able to meet nice people and see happiness in kids faces when they find that special toy. Fun place for kids. Thats it!

Cons

Not fair place to work. Not all people are treated fairly. Upper management does not keep in touch of the climate of the stores. Don' t address problems until their boss is about to visit. Thier main focus is to sign people up for credit cards, warranties. Helps pad bottom line for management bonuses. Lost focus of authentic customer service and selling actual products. Un-ethical people allowed to work in management. Some employees bad mouthed behind their backs. Confidential information shared around stores by management.
