Pros

Flexible with scheduling (I was in school), managers were nice, coworkers were nice, easy work, above minimum wage w/ benefits available for some workers

Cons

Managers having favorites, brainless work, outdated SOPs, silly scripts for cashiers, low confidence in workers' abilities

Pros

Company is very HR-centric. This makes it extremely employee friendly, but difficult to hold team member accountable for poor performance.

Cons

Low pay. As the big box retail environmental gets more competitive, Toys R Us is stretching the employees very, very thin. Trying to move at a very fast pace, and leaving most of the employees behind in the process.

Pros

Fun environment with fun coworkers, easy jobs, reachable sales goals, flexible scheduling, contests

Cons

Adults shopping for Christmas presents are often very rude and uptight, down time gets boring quickly, low pay, managers don't like being bothered for help
