      Pros

      -Being outside Literally just that. I have no other pros.

      Cons

      -low wages -terrible management -egotistical instructors -uneducated instructors -spoiled brats for participants -no benefits -the only reason this place is still open is because the owner's wife is independently wealthy The people are all fairly awful, management doesn't care about their employees wellbeing, and it's basically just a cult disguised as an outdoor program.

      Pros

      I worked as a summer instructor for several years before being promoted into a full time position with the company. If you're looking for a summer job don't kid yourself and assume it will turn into a full time gig right away. -I always felt the management had my back with parent/student clients. -Lesson plans are in your own hands once you've shown you have strong group leadership skills with students. -Awesome camaraderie and group culture. -Dynamic work life, you'll never feel stuck doing the same old thing day in/day out

      Cons

      This job requires a lot of flexibility and positivity. If you're someone who gets upset when your plans need to be adjusted than this job will be difficult for you.

      Pros and Cons. Fun for a summer

      Pros

      Generally a "fun" place to work. Many of the people who work there come from intresting backgrounds. Most of the kiddos are awesome. There is access to learning many new skills.

      Cons

      Intense days of commuting and forcing myself to seem more extroverted than I had energy for left me feeling drained and disillusioned by the end of the summer. A huge commitment for only 3 months of work.
