Pros

Always get 40 hours and sometimes overtime. No overnights. Paid comprehensive training.

Cons

Lots of drama among employees. Mandatory overtime even for good employees. Management is more likely to fire an employee for making mistakes than to uptrain employees. Constant new employees being hired, so collectors who are there longer than about 6 months are considered veterans and are expected to answer their questions and assist them. Also, if there is a snow day and more than half of the office didn't make it in, you may still get a "write up" if you were one of them, because a few people were able to make it in, not even taking in to consideration that people live in different areas, people have different cars, some people don't have snow blowers, some snow plows didn't get to their streets, etc.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

A list of some of the few things I went through. 1. Lied about wages, bonuses, no incentive for Bilingual speakers. Lowest wages for bilingual collectors I have ever seen. $15 an hr with no raise since I started. 2. Over a year since I started with no pay raise 3. Unrealistic goals i.e. want you to collect 6k a week on little $32 accounts 4. Pushy and full of threats. Will threaten you with losing your job if you don't collect unrealistic goals they set. 5. Liars and thieves. They steal accounts that you have collected on thus driving down your goals. They lie straight to your face about stealing accounts while I tracked every collected account and my name disappeared on said accounts. 6. Inept managers who threaten you every day. 7. Was collecting on judgement accounts which I was given permission and had collected on 3 of them before they revoked my privileges and blocked me from high judgement accounts stuck me lower accounts. 8. So many have quit over these things but I have stuck with them until I get my old job back. Cant wait to leave this place there is no real incentive to stay here and they are quickly getting the reputation of a place not to work at. They will never keep good help they constantly burn bridges then after threatening you with losing your job want you to recommend others to join in your nightmare..

Pros

I’m able to work remotely.

Cons

From the managers to the local agents out in the field, this company is so poorly trained and unprepared. My assignment was with American Water and they are terrible. Agents won’t show to appointments leaving random innocent people without water and damage people property while delaying repairs months in end. And the TSI managers are rude and selfish. If you have issues with equipment they too will take an overnight shipping process and turn it into a 2-3 week process.. I can go on and on but I won’t. I’m very disappointed. Oh and don’t expect a raise.. ever.. they don’t care abut their employees.
