Hard working colleagues, decent pay

Cons

Overall lack of corporate accountability and consistency in proper integration and management with departments; wholly inadequate merit increases; skewed focus responding to team member engagement survey scores; bewildering enabling of horrible and inept managers continually doing damage to company's reputation

Not worth it

Pros

Great coworkers. Pay is higher than surrounding area hospitals (night shift diff is especially generous).

Cons

Mandatory call. Your manager can make or break your unit. They hire managers who don’t even have experience in that specialty. They make you work for your money at Trihealth. Units are constantly running short-staffed, and they don’t care. It’s often unsafe. If we are adequately staffed, they complain about our “productivity” being low. Also, all of your sick time and vacation time is one bank. Sorry if you get the flu, you can’t take your vacation this year. They don’t care about work/life balance.

Everyone is burned out

Pros

Generally good people work here, incentives for picking up shifts are decent, always as many hours as you want to pickup, nice patient population. Great place to learn. Competent physicians.

Cons

Management. The worse they are as people, the higher they climb at Trihealth. Also, you’re going to work hard. Be prepared to be the nurse, the tech, EVS, and the transporter. Be prepared to have 5-6 patients at a time. Also, get comfortable being rude to patients and families because that’s the culture there. They’re just too busy, overworked and focused on the bottom line
