Pros

TriNet is a company that provides many avenues to advance your career. It's vision and mission are inspiring and the work we do everyday allows us to make a positive impact on small business in america and all of those who are employed by our clients. Additionally, TriNet provides great benefits, retirement plans, wellness plans, maternity/paternity policies, etc. TriNet is focused on ensuring we are at the forefront of HR advancements and are always updating our policies to stay ahead of some our biggest competitors. TriNet will continue to grow and if you join the team you feel that have true opportunities to build a long-term career. As a sales consultant in the Inside Sales team you have the opportunity to make very good money and develop yourself. I have personally been able to make very good money, leverage the significant benefits that TriNet offers and be promoted within our organization. I have always done well, and I have been rewarded well for that success. If you feel that working hard, long hours, and diligent focus is too much for you and you work/life balance then this may not be the job for you. All sales requires tirelessly working long hours to achieve a goal. Our President's club trips are amazing and they continue to get better.

Cons

While we have grown immensely we have not done the best job at adapting to that change. We need to work on getting better tools to be more successful. Our leadership team in Inside Sales specifically is undercompensated for their work and are not looked at as equivalent to their field counterparts. They have the same responsibilities, large quotas, and span of control as their field counter parts yet do not have equivalent titles nor comp. Additionally, our managers need better tools to help forecast the business - if they can better address those items then they can help be better at forecasting the business. I also believe that they had good intentions when they implemented Ambition and other tools to help manage and coach but they have not been leveraged appropriately. Our dept lacks the support team necessary to augment our sales leaders & equip them appropriately. Another con is the Stigma of Inside Sales versus Outside Sales. If we do this job correctly, we are true consultants and should be looked at the same as our outside counter parts.

Pros

Benefits and PTO. Peer support and relationships are what keeps people from leaving.

Cons

HR is useless. Recruiters are a joke. If you are ever promised anything from your supervisor or manager make sure you get it in writing or it's your word alone... Pay sucks for people that have been there longer.
