Pros

Base Pay, Flexible Schedule, Non Recoverable Draw on Commission

Cons

Management and leadership are clueless as to how to sell. There is no support from the company to help you close business, they will do everything to keep you from making any commission. Expectations are unrealistic and top reps are leaving because of this.

Thank you for your assessment of your time at TriNet. We agree that business success does not have to happen at the expense of employee engagement and job satisfaction. We are disappointed to learn that you felt that the environment was not employee-friendly. While there is always room for improvement, your experience is counter to the continuous feedback we get from hundreds of our colleagues across the country regarding our numerous employee engagement and appreciation initiatives and events. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

Pros

Awesome benefits and an amazing product that I was proud to sell.

Cons

Since going public the culture completely changed. They were adamant about having 16-20 appointments a month and 4 RFP's. If you didn't get this you were on the chopping block despite the fact that you literally had to do EVERYTHING including preparing your own presentations from scratch, marketing, demos, analysis and RFP's. The process for submitting was daunting to say the least with a miliion rules and no structured process so mistakes were common and you got email blasted to the higher ups if you made one. The amount of paperwork and preparation that had to be done was a full time job in and of itself. However, they could care less. The managers are paid on how many meetings you have which is ridiculous! No wonder that's all they care about. It should be based on revenue not on meetings. The company has lost over 50% of it's stock value this year in large part due to the way they have handled their employees. I've never seen such bad retention rates. They definitely oversold the position and what would be expected.
