Pros

My experience is that Trinet has a bright, inquisitive employee population. Most of the people I have encountered are genuinely nice and pleasant to work with and all strive for the best outcomes whether its related to the clients or internal interactions. Flexible working environment which given Bay Area traffic is perfect. Direct managers are responsive, supportive for things within their control. Great benefits.

Cons

Some of the departments seem understaffed or priorities not aligned with overall mission, if you have a problem, it could take weeks for resolution or traction; often requiring an escalation to obtain a response. There are a ton of resources to do your job, but finding info on the Intranet is cumbersome. Too many internal systems to access data. Not enough resources towards supporting larger customers HRIS needs which prompts them to move.

Pros

Compensation and benefits are fair. If you're vigilant about your workload, you can also maintain a good work/life balance.

Cons

Sterile, unexciting corporate culture. Opportunity for growth is small and only along a very specific, limited career paths.

Pros

I have been in the sales department at TriNet for over a year now. During my time I have been well compensated, provided generous benefits and challenged to develop my skill-set. The complex nature of TriNet's services and products force you to really understand your client's needs and find ways to solve them. The training was top-notch and the ongoing education is a top-priority. The company is growing fast, the opportunities to advance are plentiful and I plan to make a career here.

Cons

Current Facilities/Cafeteria: Looking forward to the new "Startup Workspace" renovations that are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015.
