Think twice about accepting a job offer

Pros

The only pro is that TriNet is a recognizable name in the industry and among SMBs.

Cons

If you're considering an offer, ask how involved the Legal team is in your department's work. In the last two years, Legal has made work miserable for every department. They're extremely condescending, and they think they're the subject matter expert on every topic. Legal's only job should be to assess the legal risk and make a recommendation to the business. Management has let Legal run the entire business. What a joke! When I left TriNet, I never got an exit interview. Or an exit survey. Or anything. I thought we were an HR company. The only thing I heard was "TriNet really cares and you're the kind of person that TriNet doesn't want to lose." Clearly, TriNet doesn’t care enough to make things better for the remaining employees. When you combine the above points, I don’t even know how TriNet is still functioning as a company. The people and processes are dysfunctional, and coworkers from all different teams have told me that they’re actively looking for another job. And what’s TriNet going to do about it? Attempt to hire people who haven’t read this review.

Pros

Being an SDR was the perfect role for me straight out of college. I was expecting to make a lot less money than the provided and the SDR department compensates you for the work that you put in; so you control how much you make. The culture is also good. We have lots of incentive events like bowling and Busch Gardens. My manager is also great and you can tell that they really care about the employees.

Cons

Our quotas have gone up and they have taken away all of our easier lead sources. When I started we had access to low hanging fruit, but that has been removed and our quotas have gone up which feels unfair but they pros outweigh the cons.
