Pros

Good work life balance, flexible work locations (i.e. remote work locations permissible for some positions & telecommuting). Reasonable salary structure. Encourages professional growth.

Cons

It's a huge public company. Working to be sure the auditors are happy is at times trying. Some of the policies and procedures required are ridiculous and add to the workload unnecessarily.

We love hearing that our efforts toward creating a great company culture - with “good work-life balance” - are appreciated. We assure you that those efforts will not cease. Please understand that it is very possible that what may seem to be unnecessary procedures really do have value somewhere along the line, perhaps someplace quite removed from their point of implementation. Nevertheless, when procedures do become more of a burden than a benefit, and are not legally required of us, we do try to make adjustments. If you have specific policies in mind that you think warrant changing, please bring them to the attention of your management team. They will likely look into them, or alternatively, offer a good explanation of why that policy is in place. Thank you for your insights!

Pros

good base for "mid-level" sales experience role. good benefits.

Cons

complex solution with many moving parts, hard to show value at times given the muddied landscape off HR outsourcing and new "competitors" rising up constantly

As you say, the TriNet solution is complex, and that is in response to the increasingly complex demands placed on the HR function today. Benefits, compliance, tax issues and more do present us all with a myriad of moving parts. Since it seems that you are a good observer of the marketplace and the TriNet approach, we hope you will bring any and all concerns you have about internal issues to your manager and/or to your HR Business Partner- they are there to help! We look forward to benefiting from your insights. We really do.

Pros

A great place to implement new ideas and process improvements. As with any growing company, there are opportunities for advancement, particularly within the operations organization.

Cons

As with any growing company that recently went public, there are opportunities to build an infrastructure that is scalable. Work/Life balance can also be a challenge.

We are thrilled to hear that you are interested in “new ideas and process improvements.” Please don’t be shy about sharing your ideas with your management team. We are definitely all ears when it comes to improving operations, creating opportunities for employees to grow, and providing better products and services for our clients. As you’ve pointed out, growth can present some challenges, but it also presents the kinds of opportunities you’ve identified. We hope you will continue to “accentuate the positive,” as the old song lyric goes.
