Pros

Competitive base pay, good benefits, autonomy, entrepreneurial environment, you can connect w all kinds of diff biz owners and learn about their biz. Development of your biz acumen

Cons

V similar to any other B2B type sales gigs, 6-12+ months sales cycle. Hunter gig. PEO Industry extremely crowded in FL where you’ll be 1 of 5 PEOs in a tough economic environment with a product/service marked at a premium price with no clear competitive advantage to countless other PEOs who can charge less for better all around service/product or at best identical product service. Territory - no marketing efforts outside of NYC, LA, CHI, SF, BOS, MIA The above major markets also have partnerships with wework that generates 80% of closed biz for those reps. If your territory doesn’t have a wework you most likely will have a very difficult time making it a year w zero experience Must have health insurance broker partnerships to have a chance at consistent results. You’ll find that the good brokers in FL have been exhausted by veteran PEO reps. Constant sales dept policy fluctuations from upper mgmt

Pros

The only pro is that it is a big US company.

Cons

Endless cons: 1. HR is on contract and they give false promises. First they lied about the timings. I was told indian timings, but timings were mostly US. Then I was promised an appraisal next month if I join early. Denied after I joined. 2. Gave different joining date on paper and different to the IT team which froze the access to email and all the tools 3. Didn't apologise for the screw up 4. Got my email address unblocked 3rd day which was the last day for submitting documentation. Didn't give me time for documentation which happened due to their own screw up. 3rd day from my joining was my birthday. I had planned a leave, but I was doing the documentation instead. Ruined my birthday 5. There is no concept of onboarding. The employee is left on their own. 6. Whenever I went to the manager for any help as a new hire, the standard response I get every time is 'ask someone else'. 7. I asked the director that I'm unable to adjust with the timings because it is a combination of US and India. The response I got was "work 6-10 in morning, and 6-10 in the night" 8. When I for exit, there was no exit interview. There was a silence of 3 days. and 4th day HR calls me and says 'Is it okay if we make today your last day'
