Pros

The education reimbursement benefit is quite generous.

Cons

You'll notice that all the glowing reviews come from people in sales positions. That's because any other role is considered second-class. When Trinet had their yearly 'all-hands' conference soon after acquiring another PEO, only the sales people were invited - while there, the attendees were encouraged to work together to create their new culture, but since only sales people were invited, only sales voices were valued enough to give input. How incredibly telling.

Thank you for providing feedback on your work experience at TriNet. We’ll make sure that your comments are shared with the appropriate departments. We know that all of our employees, from every organization, are critical to the success of TriNet. It is only through feedback like yours that we can identify issues and work to improve the experience for our staff. We do have to correct one point you made- every TriNet colleague is invited to every all hands meeting, period. And in fact they are expected to attend. If you are referring to our yearly sales kick off conference then yes, it focuses on sales. However, many non-sales personnel from TriNet attend to lend their subject matter expertise for sales training. Thanks again for taking the time to help us make TriNet a better company for everyone.

Pros

Good people - treated nicely Good technology, generally speaking, I helped build much of it New design of facility is nice Good location (San Leandro is not Oakland) Parking is close to the building

Cons

Tough time keeping the top performers Senior leadership in Technology disconnected from the rest of the company (lone wolf approach) Running aimlessly down a path with no reasonable time to accomplish Seem to be making alot of money based on dividends to owners (promoting no call to action) They put on a good show in the interview process but dont deliver the promise

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to learn about your “cons”. While we can’t speak for your specific situation and concerns, we can assure you we focus on making TriNet a “Great Place to Work” by conducting our Trust Index survey to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement. Based on feedback captured, we work hard to deliver results to departments and create colleague committees to address areas of improvement within our organization. If you are still a current employee, we encourage you to participate in the “Great Place to Work” initiatives to voice your observations regarding the difference between the information you received in the interview and the experience you're having.

Pros

Other areas of the company are solid - stay away from IT New facility design in San Leandro People want to do the right thing CEO and COO are good drivers for the company Compensation is decent but in the valley its all decent Diverse ethinic backgrounds in IT makes it nice Hours are not bad compared to other companies in the valley

Cons

CIO not a good leader not quite sure how he stays alive Not focused on the customer but instead trying to figure out the system - its embarassing Unfortunately the leaders encouraged the key knowledge holders leave the company without knowledge transfer making it nearly impossible to upgrade the systems without major issues "rookie move" Many of the IT jobs seem to be moving to other locations outside CA - another CIO inititive No clear direction past 30 days - communication is siloed and just focused on today Quality Assurance is laughable

Our goal is to encourage a performance driven culture at TriNet through recognizing and rewarding the best and brightest. We would like to encourage you to contact HR and discuss what you're seeing and experiencing that leads you to believe we're supporting low performers. Your input is valuable and we need it to become a better organization. Thank you!
