Pros

Fellow telephone triage nurses are kind and mostly supportive.

Cons

Scheduling policy changes frequently. Sometimes you are left grabbing scraps of shifts left over to make the tier that determines your pay scale. No benefits or 401K.

Pros

The pay was decent for the area.

Cons

The tasks were so meaningless that it felt like I was just wasting my time. The management was unhinged, with a boss who couldn't handle even the slightest criticism. It was loathsome to see how little regard they had for employee's well-being or opinions. It was clear that the focus was only on numbers and not on the people behind them. There was no support or encouragement, just a barrage of unrealistic expectations.

Pros

The office always felt tense, and like you're walking on eggshells.

Cons

Upper management constantly micromanages, the team is severely overworked and underpaid and wanting to be great at your job is not enough to get rewarded. The atmosphere always felt awkward, tense, and like you're walking on eggshells. The employees who come here leave so fats. If you are considering taking the job, my advice is to RUN!
