Pros

Heard some good things from people who work for other groups, but all were vehemently unanimous about this group

Cons

The organization had a good reputation so I accepted the offer. Little did I know I would get to work with one of the most unprofessional and unethical person on earth...Yelling at people is something she would do with all her team members..she just cannot do without it...She would set unrealistic goals before you..makes sure you never reach them and harasses you...I have never ever come across anyone like that before in all my career....It makes me wonder what her superiors are doing...He sits at New Zealand and hasn't the faintest clue what this woman actually does to her people. She is hated by one and all...Nobody works in her team for more than 3 months...Wonder why the HR is never taking any action against her......

Pros

Good hard-working employees and nice facilities

Cons

The division I worked reorganized about every six months with no clear purpose or clear objectives and was usually accompanied by layoffs of productive employees. The company lacks vision and direction, and what is communicated usually changes to different priorities the next week. Regular and automated processes are almost non-existent. The pay is not competitive. All the layoffs and lack of efficient processes make it nearly impossible to meet revenue objectives despite working 60+ hour weeks. This is definitely the worst managed company I've worked.

Pros

After working for Trimble, I honestly cannot think of one legitimate "pro". The pay was competitive, so I guess this is a "pro". Oh yeah, they provide a select few with a cheesy chinesey Trimble jacket once a year. Yep, this would be "pro" number two.

Cons

Making the decision to go to work for Trimble was a huge decision for me and my family, and a mistake and a major setback for me. They have no system or method for on-boarding and nurturing new employees, and when it is time to leave the company you will be treated like cattle (ok maybe less than cattle). Treatment of their employees is very sad and over time I am sure this type of behavior will adversely affect their brand. Company values are exceptionally poor. The hiring process is very informal and not well thought out, and neither is their employee exit process. Leadership should be more involved with their team's goals and expectations, but they seem to be running scared (because of pressures from Wall Street) and have no time or energy to guide, mentor, or communicate. The company culture is overall very weak and non-supportive of their employees or channel partners.
