Pros

The people were nice. Quarterly Lunching or holidays. Christmas parties are fun. They have other fun activities that you may want to be involved in.

Cons

Reconciling is on another level The system needs to be more streamlined in NetSuite. Moving more of the jobs to oversees. Some manager styles are not good. Require Individual Goal setting, that may be changed to what the manager wants to see. Now will affect your bonus.

Pros

Opportunities available to work with some of the top vendors and investment shops in the commercial real estate sector, but you have to be on the right team. Friendly people High caliber CEO who cares

Cons

Compensation is below market and need improvement. The company does offer standard pay raises every year across departments (typically 3-5%) but it feels like a drop in the bucket when the company’s competitors offer comp 20% higher or more on average. Middle management is quite often insensitive to the needs of their direct reports, particularly as it relates to periodic performance feedback (and not only at each performance review) and ongoing training. The company is going through growing pains having cut many of its clients over the past 2 years. Significant changes to compensation, branding, internal processes, and HR over the last year have left many employees having to adjust on the fly. Greater transparency would be ideal.

Pros

Firstly, it's the people. The team spirit and collective effort are what set us apart. The camaraderie among us is authentic and noticeable. Additionally, it's our vision. How many of you can say you work for a company that practices what it preaches and invests in its employees? Being part of a team where I see the dedication and careful consideration put into every decision is truly remarkable. Every choice is made with the team's well-being in mind. Moreover, it's our dedication to inclusivity and fostering a sense of belonging for all. Everyone wants to feel valued and heard. While we are at the early stages of this journey, our leadership is committed to not only investing financially but also dedicating time and attention to make sure everyone feels included. Lastly, we know how to have fun. Work can be demanding at times, but we have found a way to work hard and enjoy the journey. Since we spend a significant amount of time at work, having fun and finding joy in the journey is a must for us.

Cons

The manual processes, though admittedly inconsistent, offer a chance for improvement. Our manual processes disrupt the team's workflow, leading to errors and extra duties. To manage these issues, workarounds are put in place, which in turn generate more work. The differing approaches to tasks also contribute to increased workload. Recognizing this as an opportunity, we are actively seeking innovative technological solutions to streamline our processes and set up best practices for a more efficient work environment.
