Pros

The office location is great, the work environment is somewhat flexible, and the people are really nice (especially those who speak).

Cons

High turnover in most departments especially in credit and asset management. There’s not a lot of knowledge transfer happening because most of the current workforce has been in the game for two years or less. Too many manual processes and our technology infrastructure is poor. We rely heavily on spreadsheets which equates to a lot of human error. Management does a poor job communicating and sometimes employees are left in the dark, where sometimes we will receive appropriate communications from HR when people bring issues to their attention. There’s a serious lack of job-specific training and it causes inefficiencies across the organization.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Trimont and for your contribution to our team for 5+ years. We are glad to hear that you like our office location, flexible work environment, and the positive camaraderie among team members. These are aspects we take pride in and continuously work to maintain. Ensuring we have the proper knowledge transferring when team members exit is critical to maintain business continuity. This is why we are actively working on retention strategies to retain our top talent and also establishing best practices to ensure that our teams and operations continue to function efficiently and smoothly. We are focused on continuous improvements to our technology infrastructure. We’ve also intentionally focused on building out our internal communications by adding resources, launching an employee newsletter and updating and building out our company intranet in the past nine months. Management is committed to communicating transparently, clearly and frequently to our team members. We will share your concerns regarding more job-specific training as we believe in the continuous learning and development of our team members. We are happy to share that there will be a robust calendar of technical training, that our L&D team have been working on. A list of all the Q1 training can be found on trimontuniversity.csod.com, with more to come! We will continue to look for ways to offer continuous learning and development opportunities for our team members.

Pros

Getting this job at Trimont has truly been one of the best experiences I have had. The people are wonderful, my team is SUPER awesome and I love working here. I can honestly say I enjoy coming to work and I can see me being here until. There is room for me to grow and the perks are amazing. I LOVE MY JOB and I LOVE TRIMONT.

Cons

A downside is I don't think my team gets the credit that is due. We work hard behind the scenes and sometimes I don't think we get the credit for all that we do to keep things growing forward.
