Pros

Management is nice, until you leave and become another “quitter.”

Cons

Company constantly takes on work it can’t do and then scrambles to find someone with experience or an inkling of how to do it. Advancement is a pyramid scheme where people say “yes” with no regard to work load stress, and then jam work into your inbox so they get the credit and the promotion while you chug through the endless and monotonous workload. I suggest you look elsewhere for employment to avoid being misled by their false narratives. Favoritism is common and the rules apply differently to each employee. Benefits are lacking and the pay scales are nationwide so they work well in cheap states and are lackluster in expensive states. Let’s be honest, investors run the company and could care less about the quality of work product. Don’t expect an appreciation for working hard as you will be handed another endless list of to do items. You want a bonus, sure, but you have to work 50 hours on average and will get a abysmal fraction of what they make off of you; it ain’t worth it so do the bare minimum because that’s what everyone else does here.

Pros

Fast paced and can be promoted quickly. Pay is good and employee stock options are a plus. Can learn about a lot of different industries and areas. People are generally nice, easy to work with, and willing to help you.

Cons

Expectation to climb the ranks is to work a lot. If you like working 48 hours every week and only getting 13 PTO days then you’ll fit right in. Not much training for employees on how to be a project manager or supervisor. Most managers are so busy billing they struggle to make time for their direct reports. Expected to work weekends and holidays depending on workload. Also depending on your office, very little ability to work for home.
