Pros

Good pay, good benefits, nice people.

Cons

Training is non-existent in the role I fulfill and means learning by trial and error. From Data File Processor, there isn't an easy route into the ranks of the rest of the company, and the team is not included in much of the office activities. I think it has to do with the early hours--we leave earlier than the rest of the office, and some emails get sent out after we are already gone and we miss things that we might've needed to know for the next day. If your files do not get out by the end of your shift, you stay until they do. Few people on the team take lunchbreak and are resented by others on the team if they do.

Pros

The pay and benefits at Trintech were once great. But cost cutting has taken its toll on overall compensation.

Cons

Nearly the entire engineering staff has been laid off and the work has been outsourced to the Ukraine and India. What was once a great engineering department has been decimated by current management. Management has no clue how to run an engineering organization. Timelines are set arbitrarily and death marches are now a way of life for what remains of the onshore engineering staff. Job security is non-existent. Beware!
