Pros

My experience with Trip has been positive overall. Management is open-minded when it comes to exploring new markets and business opportunities. Local team is fantastic. Most managers care about their people and prioritise balancing business goals with personal well-being, helping prevent burnout from the sometimes ambitious expectations set by offshore managers. Management seeks out feedback through open forums held every two months, fostering two-way communication. Three days in the office and two working from home. Melbourne is in a shared office, but Sydney office provides snacks regularly. Team lunches and happy hour events help foster a positive and social environment.

Cons

Some internal processes feel outdated and overly bureaucratic designed by Shanghai, which frustrates a lot!

Pros

Awesome benefits and rewards they offer in special occasions

Cons

Workloads are overwhelming. What the company want employee too achieve is almost impossible. Unfair specially if you are working as inbound EN, they are forcing you to assist customers that speak other languages with only use of translation tool. We are forced to say white lies although the result is impossible for guest to achieve for the sake of getting a positive survey. You often experience multiple changes of rest days in 1 month. You wouldn't imagine yourself working in the company in long term due to too much pressure and unfair distribution of workloads.

Pros

Business is growing, and the stock price keeps going up. So it's a good thing if you have stock options.

Cons

Bureaucracy and a lot of politics. Can't get a promotion unless you have relations. Poor salary compared to high recruiting demands. A lot of overtime. The WFH policy does not apply to all departments.
