Pros

Most of the team is really friendly and supportive and the offices are nice with modern facilities, There's also the possibility to work remotely but I personally like coming to the office. The The salary is good and the management team works very hard to ensure that everyone's work is equitable.

Cons

Too many procedures that change constantly which can sometimes make the job slightly confusing and stressful. It's understandable that procedures change since the travel industry is very changeable, however, the procedures imposed from China are so poorly managed that instead of improving the working flow, they create more friction when it comes to solving problems.

Pros

The office has a very nice environment. People are always available and ready to help not only work wise but also in the every day life and the pay is definitely worth the job that we do for my opinion. We also have a very interesting multi cultural environment, so there is something new to learn and discover every day. For my experience, in my department they are all very flexible in case you need to exchange shifts due to personal reasons in order for all of us to have a nice work-life balance.

Cons

As every job that require contact with customers, it is stressful sometimes but at the end of the day we are surrounded by a good management and co-workers so it is easy to get through stress when you feel supported by the work place.

Pros

Senior management is highly involved, with Operations Managers and the EU Service Director being approachable and actively engaging with all colleagues. The diverse environment truly enhances the workplace experience, as individuals collectively contribute to making it a nice place to work. The commitment to development is evident; your hard work and dedication are duly recognized, paving the way for better opportunities. Progression is not only possible but actively encouraged if you are able to maintain high results. Trip.com fosters a positive culture where inclusivity is paramount. Discrimination is not tolerated, fostering a welcoming environment crucial for our diverse workforce. Everyone is valued and embraced, creating a sense of belonging for all.

Cons

Lower-level management exhibits inconsistency, with some Team Leaders demonstrating excellence while others would benefit from additional training and development. Micromanagement is prevalent, often emphasizing negatives while overlooking positives. Navigating the dynamics of being European within a Chinese company poses challenges. Headquarters' emphasis on statistics and numbers sometimes leads employees to feel undervalued as individuals. Although management acknowledges this issue, they often find themselves constrained by strict protocols mandated by China. Recognizing and respecting the unique operational dynamics overseas, and embracing diverse cultural approaches, would ultimately benefit both the business and its employees.
