So much room for improvement

Pros

Benefits - 401(k) Self-Managed Time Off A ton of other benefits Great peers, great mission, great industry

Cons

So much turnover, layoffs, change - we were resilient, now we are just weary There isn't much room for growth, particularly for older employees It seems like they'd rather people just retire (that's probably the cheaper option) New leadership doesn't trust the managers that are in place - but they trust their assessment of the talent pool reporting to them so they hire from outside instead of interviewing and making up their own minds. Internal candidates never even get interviewed. Being an internal candidate is a negative on an application, so I guess they want everyone to leave but don't want to pay severance Constant churn for a year now - how much can we take?

No Longer a Remote Company

Pros

//Nice coworkers //Good new hire onboarding //Trainers are friendly and welcoming

Cons

//Job duties change a lot //Terminations are random //Overworked //Need to know insurance //No longer remote Don't even bother applying if you are hoping to get into a remote company. They are no longer going to be fully remote it'll be a hybrid. I feel like I was lied to. Expect a wave of resignations as people seek out employers that actually support remote work. Many people will leave to find other fully remote jobs. This shift was poorly thoughtout and did not have the employees in mind. Corporations need to understand that working in person does not appeal to everyone. Honestly, it feels like the goal was to quietly push out long-time employees and bring in new hires who won’t question the changes.
