Pros

Great work environment for the most part. great food.

Cons

as a bartender i make less then the servers and work (prep) twice as much. even tho this restaurant is modern and boasts a communal aspect to the work itself it still falls under the stereotypical restaurant tropes. management flirting with staff, HR is pretty much non existent. lastly management instead of finding the solution to a problem they do the "blame game" when something goes wrong they find someone to pin it on.

Pros

* working in a restaurant with health conscious people and food * pay was decent * employees were easy to work with

Cons

* management micromanaged employees * customers were rude and impolite at times and you had to put yourself to the side entirely because management would fire you if you spoke up for yourself. * the restaurant can become very busy and high paced and you can get drawn into doing several jobs at once * management could be careless and unorganized. Prioritized the customers much more than their fellow colleagues and made it obvious it was such. It feels strict and rigid working there with the feel that they only want people who will fit their narrative and desired look/personality. Everyone is subject to some form of belittling whether from kitchen management to higher levels.

Great atmosphere

Pros

I, a queer and non-binary POC, have always felt very accepted by my coworkers and managers. The tips are fairly good and the atmosphere is very team-work centered.

Cons

The hourly rate for front of house workers is really low. All, but the hosts, make 2.13 as the base pay. For a restaurant that is known for their good salaries and hourly pay, they do lack in that department. Other than that, I really do love this place.
