New SLT is horrible

Pros

Still committed to following the dirty dozen and better sourcing.

Cons

Downsizing all operational MGMT teams to 'save' money while destroying culture, working MGMT to the bone, taking away resources to allow operators to operate. The new CEO John Williams is destroying culture and morale. He and the team he has surrounded himself with are not good at their jobs. They have lost touch with operators and don't value people or the opinions of the people in the store level driving the company. Don't work here, you will have ZERO life work balance

Pros

Half off when working or dining

Cons

Management doesn’t care if you’re making money at all. Refuses to cut any servers until the last possible minute so you’re walking away with pennies. The chefs are incredibly entitled. They don’t pay for your parking, they don’t pay for your uniforms, you don’t get a shift meal, you only make 2.13 an hour.

Pros

room for advancement as i started as a host and ended as a manager, great staff - management tends to hire a certain type of personality, everyone will be kind, outgoing, and fun to be around

Cons

top management doesn't seem to make great long-term decisions in terms of general managers. I saw a lot, A LOT of turnover throughout my time at true food. unfortunately, once we sold, corners were cut and the quality of food and service noticeably decreased. the hiring of general management is, dare I say, horrendous. great opportunities to move up until you reach the corporate level where they hire from outside only to have those managers leave without accomplishing anything positive. so disappointing to see this happen countless times, over and over again
