Thanks for leaving us a review! Work-life balance is a high priority in our work culture, especially as we all work from home, so I am glad to hear of your experience. With the massive growth that Trupanion saw this last year, we are working to bring on more and more employees to our Claims department to keep up with the needs of our new members. If you have any insight that you would like to share about productivity goals, please email me at Anna.Berentson@trupanion.com and I would be happy to set up a time for us to chat.

Pros

Ability to work remotely, great pay in my opinion, they've made strides in changing how senior management interacts with employees, I was hired 3 years ago when a lot of the 'managers don't care about employee' reviews were getting posted, but i have never once seen this or felt this way since being promoted to a manager role. We are encouraged to help team members move up from within, and have monthly 1:1 so we can better communicate. We are given the tools to succeed, you simply have to use them and express that you want to move up, and you will. You're free to manage how you want to (they dont make you micromanage in my department). Benefits are awesome as there is an onsite daycare (paid by Trupanion), generous RSUs, generous quarterly and monthly bonuses, before COVID managers would be flown to Seattle to work in office for a week every quarter (I am out of state), paid insurance for 1 pet, paid health insurance, etc.

Cons

401k matching would be great but with the large amount of RSUs were given I've made more with that in 6 months than the 3 years ive been putting into my 401k.

Pros

Truly supportive management, realistic metric goals, great benefits. By far the best contact center employment experience in my over 10 years in customer service.

Cons

Although leadership is fantastic, the team structure does mean a lack of centralized direct support resources so that in the rare cases where your team leads are unavailable it can be hard to find help.
