      "No call center culture" - A lie

      Free pet insurance, RSU's, free Healthcare, pet orientated work

      Honestly I really hate writing this review because I love the company itself. Trupanion is the best pet insurance out there, hands down. My dog wouldn't be here without it. I was unfortunately verbally abused by my immediate supervisor. My specific department is constantly going through changes as no one can decide what to do for processes. The metrics are hard to meet, and expectations are not set until you're being coached on it. Rules enforced differently for different employees based on tenure and favoritism/metrics. Managers not held responsible for their actions unless you go to the CEO, apparently This job makes me hate the company, and it has a significant effect on my mental health. I was told by a previous supervisor that none of the other managers wanted me here, and now im seeing evidence of that by having a target on my back, and having my every move nitpicked.

      Pros

      They care about pets. There are some really wonderful, smart, creative people.

      Cons

      Very have/have not culture with extremely out of touch and inexperienced leadership. I know a lot of people say that a pro to working here is all the dogs in the office but let's be honest a lot of places now have pets in the workplace and those maybe are places where you can be paid a fair wage and treated with respect for your input. This place has a lot of work to do to have a truly appealing and inclusive culture. There's a lot of talk about being fair and being transparent and being equal. But sadly those are just words.

      the absolute worst company in the world and quite possibly the universe

      Pros

      everyone that brings a pet to work seems very happy that they are able to do so. quite a perk not able to get at most other companies.

      Cons

      there is a culture of hostility, incompetence, arrogance that permeates the hallways of this dump of an organization. this does not empower people and it makes people miserable. management is inept as most people have said. pay is quite terrible, significantly lower than industry average. a lot of people are in roles or positions that they are not qualified for. there are quite a lot of people working here who seem unfit for work anywhere including a sandwich shop.
