      Pros

      Really flexible work environment, appreciated working from home.

      Cons

      Only room for growth if you are friends with someone above you. In the department I worked in, the leadership team had lots of cliques, no one got ahead unless you became buddies with the people in charge. Went 2 years without a salary increase, and when it happened, it wasn't even consistent with a cost of living increase. Very disappointing end to my long tenure with the company.

      No loyalty, no raises

      There are not many these days

      Cons

      Sure, you'll get mandated wage increases, but forget any kind of raise based on your performance or tenure. "You can make more by driving more business", great way to sell a pipe dream. Man up and pay your people better and maybe you won't see the pit fall you're currently in get any worse. You already have people doing the responsibilities of multiple positions / people and cutting corners that way, you can't at least just give them a little more guaranteed salary?

      Great product, not so great company

      The product itself is a great product to help protect pets.

      Cons

      Very underpaid compared to the cost of living and the median pay for an account manager. No annual reviews, no annual salary increases. You can be a top performer but there won’t be any resources for a salary increase, just a “good job, keep it up!” The only salary increase you will ever see is when the state mandates a higher minimum base salary. The bonus structure changes constantly and they basically took away everyone’s ability to bonus. No investment or development in employees. No opportunities to grow. You’ll only get the opportunity to move into a leadership role if you’re friends with others in leadership.
