Pros

TrustedSite has pretty good work life balance. Good performance is rewarded. I've been here for about a year, I created a meaningful impact on certain sales metrics. As a result I was promoted and received a raise. The company is full of kind and considerate people, and I enjoy working with the folks on my team (and outside my team). What I really like about the company is that you can identify a problem or an opportunity and reach out across teams to involve the right people needed to come up with a solution or improvement. The culture is collaborative, teams have their domain of expertise and responsibility, but no one is working in a Silo. Cross-functional collaboration is encouraged. 2020 was a tough year in a lot of aspects. I appreciated that employees were encouraged to take personal time to process events that made national news.

Cons

1 year in, and no major complaints so far.

Pros

Many pros here. CEO is focused on success for his company and his employees. I've been managing for years and this company by far has the most talented people working there. Marketing, engineers and sales managers are smart talented and caring people. I don't have to give this review much thought since I'm clear on how I feel about TrustedSite. If you are looking to work for a company that is in the middle of SF, has wonderful products and fun lively staff then reach out to them. They are growing and always looking for talented people. I'll end with, now is a great time to join trusted since they are in growth mode, which will increase your chances of advancing your career.

Cons

If you don't live in SF then you will have a bit of a commute. They have recently opened a sales office in Fairfield if you are in the area.

Pros

If you are new to tech and need a way in, this is it. TS will hire you just so they can have man power to push a outdated product in a dying industry. Also you get catered lunch and benefits.

Cons

I have seen personally people get let go right before 3 months even though they were doing a decent job. I have seen the management try to require employees to leave positive reviews on Glassdoor because they know how many employees have left feeling Jaded. Management will micro manage you to the point they will notice your bathroom breaks. After they will suggest you do a specific way of your work and even if it fails because it was not a good system management will blame the employees then get rid of the system. If you look at the team, the management has been there for 5+ years and has remained the same, while tenure for any associate is 3 months to 1 year. This is what we call a red flag. A billionaire once said, "I don't invest in products, I Invest in people" this is not Trustedsite. They use people with a expectation that they will not be there for long. They also say they pay really well except its actually lowest paying in the industry.

I am sorry this person had a bad experience on their way out. They may well have felt they were being micromanaged if their results were not where they needed to be, that does happen. Our entry level positions are paid competitively, trained well and with decent results and efforts most will move up. Website Security and Trust as industry is growing with TrustedSite having two of the leading solutions under the TrustedSite brand. Perimeter security to prevent breaches and building trust around an e-commerce sites company continue to remain critical. I do agree that security alone isn't enough anymore to address a websites issues, business trust, e-commerce performance, product quality are all critical today. As for our management team we have had various editions recently such as our Director of Account Management and Director of Sales Operations. Many of our management team started out as individual contributors who where promoted because of their results. They've had good careers and contributed significantly to the company and yes some have been here (not as managers) 5 years.
