Pros

Great salary, "Enterprise solution", Young team

Cons

CEO is high maintenance and constantly belittles his staff. Very much an old boys club management team who are only interested in selling the company for a vast profit. No care taken to ensure staff are happy or being trained / utilized to the best of their ability. Product isn't strong enough but there is no desire to improve the platform. Not able to be sold in any market other than those with over 1000 servers in an environment - they have to be virtual.

Pros

Location of the company. Exposure to the cloud.Founders and co-founders are fantastic but it's hard to grab the opportunity to learn from them.

Cons

Nepotism will spoil your career. Relatives in company are technically challenged and will eat away your credit, growth and even awards. Underpaid employees. Stock options provided are hardly any money. No 401K match. Too much politics for granting vacation. Incapable and insecure managers. Too much stress with zero work/life balance.

Turbonomic certainly continues to learn and grow, anchoring ourselves in disruptive technology that provides us a platform to innovate. Our team is listening to employees and we encourage discussion, and feedback from current employees as a priority. We appreciate the feedback and take it to heart. It’s quite a challenge to grow together- the existing team, as well as new employees, and we are determined to provide opportunities and evolve this year.

Pros

room for growth within the company, lots of young people

Cons

No real structure, no training program, no organization, just a messy place to work. Very long hours, you are expected to work at least 10 hours a day but most of the time it is around 11 or 12 hours a day. You are thrown right into the fire without any real training and if you dont succeed right away you are let go. Instead of investing time and training into the people they hire, they just hire a lot of them and hope a few work out and let go of the rest
