Pros

You will get some pretty crazy stories from dealing with customers. Co Workers are usually pretty cool. No short of hours to be given

Cons

The pay is miserable. (They would rather have a high turnover rate with employees then pay them what they're worth). Long, long days with no lunch breaks. Half of the customers are pretty decent, but the other half is probably about the worst around. Working 7 days straight isn't uncommon around here. It's very corporate. You will work full time hours with part time benefits (i.e. nothing). Upper management expects you to be able to do everything by yourself or at best with one other person (Dispatch trucks, receive trucks, fill propane, install hitches, troubleshoot customer problems, repair our broken equipment, to periodic inspections before they come overdue, and more in just one days work).

Pros

the only reason to work for U-Haul is if you need a job but couldn't find one somewhere else.

Cons

bad pay, have to deal with difficult customers, managers often do not back you up. creativity and innovation is suppressed as all the customer service reps have to follow a script when answering the phone. no company culture.
